Six years ago, Clinton Giles started a photography diploma between night shifts on a road crew. Six years later, he won first prize at the Peterborough Art Festival and sold his first print at his opening exhibition.
Southern Inspirations is a slow body of work — the southern Australian coast at dawn and dusk, wildlife held still long enough to be seen, the outback in bloom when most people are looking the other way. Clinton shoots what he walks past on the long way home.
